The significance of an object is variable in relation to the object and its owner. A volleyball that I am in love with for its color and texture, a grooming brush for dogs that I am fascinated by for its shape. A lot of objects around me are meant to be practical, but rarely settle as a mundane tool. ‘Comfortable misfits’, despite their appearance as functional objects, were not created to be viewed as such. It displays my personal fascinations towards daily objects, and shines a light on the significance of mundane objects.
