Things around us are made and used based on its intention and function. Materials, forms, and scales of the object always gives us a suggestion and guidance on how to use the object. ‘Anonymous tools’ are objects which oppose to this nature of the things. The elements of the object are fitting to certain parts of the body, while it doesn’t give a clear function to the wearer. When the materials and shapes seem suggestive of practical use, questions start to surface: is it a tool, or just a wearable piece of jewellery? It is an investigation into affordance of jewellery as an object.
